
Hurricane Milton postpones sporting events
Eastern Florida State College athletics teams have postponed games this week due to Hurricane Milton.
The women's soccer team was scheduled to host Polk State College in a conference matchup on Tuesday at Orlando Health Stadium but the game has been rescheduled for Monday, Oct. 14 at 6 p.m.
The women's volleyball team was supposed to play No. 2 Florida Southwestern State College on Wednesday night at Titan Field House. That match was postponed until Monday, Oct. 14 at 6 p.m. Saturday's cnference road match against Polk State College on Saturday has also been postponed and is rescheduled for Oct. 21.
The men's soccer team was supposed to travel to Daytona State College for a conference game on Wednesday night and that has also been postponed. The game will be rescheduled.
The men's golf team was supposed to compete in the Calhoun Fall Invitational on Monday and Tuesday but due to the storm they came back early.
The baseball team's home game on Thursday has also been cancelled.
The men's and women's cross country teams are scheduled to go to Tallahassee for the FSU Invitational but will not be making the trip.
The men's basketball team is still scheduled to compete at the All-American Jamboree in Tavares while the women's basketball team is still scheduled to play in a jamboree in Albany, Georgia on Saturday.
The men's soccer game and the women's soccer team's game against Daytona State College Saturday night is still on the schedule but check EFSC Titans Web site and social media for updates.
