
Women's golf team second at Oldfield Intercollegiate
Eastern Florida State College women's golfer Mila Tang won the individual title at the Oldfield Intercollegiate, helping the Titans finish second in the tournament Tuesday.
The freshman shot a 76 in the final round to win her second individual title of the spring.
Eastern Florida State College shot a 302 in the final round and finished second to SCAD Savannah who finished with a 296.
Tang won the individual title by three strokes over Limestone's Pennie Osterberg who finished 8-over.
Teammate Ann Burel shot even par in the final round to finish tied for 19th overall while Emma Parker and Brittany Odic tied for 26th overall. Odic shot a 4-over in the final round while Parker had a 6-over. Jenna Barnett finished 29th.
UIndy tied with Carson-Newman for third place overall.
"It was a tough round, good job by Mila hanging in there for her second individual win," Eastern Florida State College women's golf coach Jamie Howell said.
The women's team will compete in the North Georgia Brackett Challenge April 7-8.
