Women's golf places fifth at Flagler Fall Slam
The Eastern Florida State women's golf team finished fifth at the Flagler Fall Slam on Tuesday.
The Titans shot a 309 in the final round to move up into the top five at Marsh Creek Country Club in St. Augustine.
Mila Tang finished tied for 13th overall shooting a 78 in the final round. Teammate Jenna Barnett shot a 76 to place tied for 26th while Brittany Odic had a 78 and was tied for 28th overall. Emma Parker shot a 77 and Anna Burel had an 80 on Tuesday. Cayden Challacombe had a 92.
"A little better than the first round and we let a better round get away from us the last six holes," Eastern Florida State College women's golf coach Jamie Howell said. "Good balance from the team, just need to clean up unforced errors."
Flagler won the event with Daytona State College finishing second and Palm Beach Atlantic was third.
