
EFSC's Aliah Snider, Adem Bouldjadj named Orlando Health Athletes of Week
Eastern Florida State College women's volleyball player Aliah Snider and men's cross country player Adem Bouldjadj are the Orlando Health Athletes of the Week for the week ending Sept. 8
Snider had an impressive weekend, recording 33 kills in four matches and also had 14 digs, 33 assists and seven aces. In her best match, Snider had 12 kills and hit .290 against Mineral Area College.
The freshman from Parker, Colorado has 66 kills and 114 assists this season for the Titans.
Bouldjadj, a sophomore from jijel, Algeria, won the Holloway Collegiate XC Opener hosted by Florida Southern. Bouldjaj ran away from the field early and won the event by more than seven seconds, posting a time of 18:18 in the 6K race.
The individual win is the first in program history.
The women's volleyball team is on the road for conference matches at Miami Dade College and Florida Southwestern.
The cross country teams will compete at the UNF 5K Cross Country Challenge on Friday.
