
EFSC has 61 student-athletes make All-Academic teams
Eastern Florida State College had 61 student-athletes named to the NJCAA Division I 2023-24 All-Academic Teams, recognizing student-athletes across the country.
A total of 12,245 student-athletes have been honored for achieving a GPA above 3.60. Student-athletes are eligible to earn academic honors by achieving an overall GPA of 3.60 or higher for the 2023-24 academic year.
For the second straight season, the Titans had 16 make the first team, finishing with a 4.0 grade point average. Three of them made the first team for the second straight season as Emma Kiser, Rosa Redondo Sorribes and Eric Tripathi all posted 4.0 GPAs again this year.
Joining them on the first team are women's basketball player Jaidyn Koerdt, women's soccer players Morgan Gamin, Lea Monteiro, Samira Roper and Kamara Simmons, volleyball players Sarah Henault and Sophia Knowles, men's basketball player Matus Malovec, men's tennis player Konstantin Kukaras, women's golfer Brittany Odic, softball players Livie Davis and Madison Ford as well as men's soccer player Kodai Tsuzuki.
The second team consisted of student-athletes with a GPA of 3.80 and 3.99. The Titans had 19 make the second team.
Men's soccer players George Wyatt (3.90), Enrico Burigotto (3.89), Christoph Steinleitner (3.89), Takuma Kiuchi (3.86) and Rhys Shirley (3.82), women's soccer players Ana Alvarez Garcia (3.90), Sofia Posner (3.89), women's basketball players Sophia Otokhagua (3.89) and Esra Sen (3.80), men's golfers Adam Vermut (3.89) and Jamie Chepenik (3.90), women's tennis players Elena Prado Martinez (3.88) and Laura Yans (3.90), softball players McKenzie Jewell (3.88) and Ashley Grieser (3.81), volleyball players Rachele Braccio (3.91) and Mariana Saba (3.81) and men's basketball players Oliver Pasque (3.89) and Noels Silvackis (3.89).
The third team consisted of student-athletes with a GPA of 3.60 and 3.79. The Titans had 26 make the third team.

It is the third straight season the Titans have had over 50 student-athletes were named to the NJCAA Division I All-Academic Team.
