Women's basketball team hosting Daytona State College Saturday in conference game
The Eastern Florida State College women's basketball team will host Daytona State College Saturday afternoon in a Citrus Conference game.
The No. 24 ranked Titans come into the matchup 7-2 in the conference and have won 38 home games in a row.
Eastern Florida State College defeated Daytona State College 91-56 in the first meeting as four players scored in double figures in the win.
Sophomore E'Zaria Adams had 19 points in the first meeting and has scored at least 12 points in each of the past four games. The guard is averaging 11.8 points per game this season. Teammate Karen Nimo is averaging 12 points per game and is coming off a 20-point performance against Santa Fe College last Saturday.
Daytona State College has won two of its past four games and is led by Destinie Gordon who is averaging 10.7 points per game.
