
Women's basketball team hosts Miami Dade Wednesday night
The Eastern Florida State College women's basketball team will be back at Titan Field House Wednesday evening.
The Titans, who are 10-0 and No. 4 in the latest NJCAA Division I poll, will host Miami Dade College at 5:30 p.m.
Eastern Florida State College will play the Sharks for the third time this season and are 2-0 against them. The Titans are 15th in the nation in points scored, averaging 80.4 points per game. Eastern Florida State College is second in rebounds and blocks per game in the nation and allows just 48.1 points per game which is eighth in the nation.
Shadaria Smith is averaging 13.4 points per game while teammates L'or Eyeba Mputu, Amelia Hassett and Isimenme Ozzy-Momodu are each averaging 10 points per game.
Miami Dade comes into the contest 1-11 and is led by Jaya Nelson who is averaging 16.8 points per game.
The Titans have won 13 straight at home and admission to Wednesday night's game is free. The game will also be shown live online at the EFSC Titans YouTube page.
