Men's golf team in second place at Trojan Invitational
The Eastern Florida State College men's golf team is in second place after the first round of the Trojan Invitational at Lagoon Park in Montgomery, Alabama.
The Titans shot a 1-over 289 and is two strokes behind Central Alabama Community College heading into the final round on Tuesday morning.
Freshman Robert Greninger shot a 3-under 69 and is tied for the lead with Mississippi Gulf Coast CC's Alessio Graziani. The round was Greninger's first as a college golfer.
Sophomore Drew Lanier is tied for ninth overall after an even par 72 round while teammate Matt Gauntlett and John Houchin are tied for 16th at 2-over 74 while Brandon Boncore shot a 77 to tie for 37th overall.
Eastern Florida State College will look for his second win of the fall season against 14 other schools.
