Women's volleyball team the No. 3 seed for FCSAA Division I Volleyball Championships

The Eastern Florida State College women's volleyball team will be the No. 3 seed at the FCSAA Division I Volleyball Championships at Suncoast Credit Union Arena in Fort Myers.

The Titans finished the regular season 15-10 overall and are 6-6 in the Citrus Conference. They will open the state tournament at 1 p.m. Friday against No. 6 seed Hillsborough Community College. Eastern Florida State College won both regular season meetings with the Hawks.

Host Florida Southwestern State College is the No. 1 seed with Miami Dade College the No. 2 seed. Daytona State College is the No. 4 seed and will play No. 5 seed Santa Fe College at 10 a.m. on Friday.

The winner of the Titans-Hawks match will advance to face No. 2 Miami Dade at 7 p.m. on Friday. The winner will advance to the championship match and the loser will play in the third-place match on Saturday.
