Women's basketball team hosts Hillsborough CC Monday night

The Eastern Florida State College women's basketball team will be back at Titan Field House Monday for a Citrus Conference game.

The Titans, who are 1-1 in the conference and 8-2 overall, will host Hillsborough Community College at 5:30 p.m.

Hillsborough Community College comes into the matchup winning two straight conference games and are averaging 83.5 points per game this season which is third in the state. Sophomore guard Maisel Reyes is averaging 18.3 points per game this season which is second in the FCSAA. The Hawks are 2-1 in the conference and 8-3 overall.

Sophomore E'Zaria Adams is averaging 20.5 points per game in conference games and is scoring 11 points per game this season for the Titans. Teammate Karen Nimo is leading the team, averaging 13.7 points per game.

Monday night is the first meeting of the season between the two teams and the Titans have won the past eight times they have played but Hillsborough Community College is the last team to defeat the Titans at home as the women's team has won 36 straight at home.
