The Eastern Florida State College softball team lost a pair of games on the road Tuesday afternoon.
The Titans lost a tight battle with Santa Fe in the first game and then struggled in the second game to fall to 6-10 on the season.
Trinity Howard had her best game of the season for the Titans, allowing two runs in five plus innings.
The Titans got on the board early as Kayla Domon walked and ended up scoring on an error to give the Titans a 1-0 lead. But Santa Fe would tie the game in the bottom of the first.
From there, Howard was on top of her game as she would put up zeroes until the bottom of the sixth inning when a pitch got away from Howard and hit the batter to force in a run.
Makenzie Fore came into the game with two out and the bases loaded, getting out of the jam with a strikeout and a groundout.
In the second game, the Titans struggled from the start as the Saints would win the game 10-0.
Eastern Florida State College will be back at Titan Softball Complex Wednesday evening, hosting Seminole State College for a doubleheader beginning at 4 p.m. Admission is free to softball games this season.
