Women's soccer team hosts Laramie County Sunday night in battle of top 15 teams
The Eastern Florida State College women's soccer team will host Laramie County Community College in a battle of nationally-ranked teams Sunday evening at Orlando Health Stadium.
The Titans, who are 1-0 and ranked fourth in the NJCAA Division I poll, will play No. 15 Laramie County at 7 p.m. at the stadium on the Melbourne campus.
Eastern Florida State College won the season opener against ABAC as Morgan Gamin and Kaley Vitaliano each scored three goals in the 10-0 victory.
Laramie County is coming off a 2-0 loss to No. 9 Daytona State College on Friday night. Caroline Kuhn had a hat trick against Salt Lake in a 5-4 loss as the Golden Eagles are 0-2 with both losses to ranked teams.
Sunday night's game will be the first home game of the season for the women's soccer team who will be at home three more times in the month of September.
