Women's soccer team hosts No. 12 Monroe College Sunday morning
The Eastern Florida State College women's soccer team will host No. 12 Monroe College Sunday morning in a battle of top 15 teams in the country.
Sunday's game will begin at 10 a.m. Sunday at Orlando Health Stadium on the Melbourne campus.
The Titans come into the game with a 2-1-2 record and are No. 4 in the latest NJCAA Division I poll.
Monroe College comes into the weekend 5-1-1 on the season and has outscored opponents 29-6 in the seven games. Luana Grabias has scored eight times which is tied for 22nd best in the nation while teammate Nyah Hood has scored five times. Defensively the Mustangs have been one of the better teams in the nation as goalkeeper Stefane Rosa has allowed just two goals and has 22 saves.
Eastern Florida State comes in on a four-game unbeaten streak and is led by Paula Garrido who has three goals this season.
