Four women's soccer players sign with four-year colleges

Four members of the Eastern Florida State College women's soccer team have signed letters of intent to attend four-year colleges in the Fall.

Three of the four will be attending NCAA Division I programs with two becoming foes as Morgan Miller heads to Louisiana Tech and Kiera Gibson signed with Florida International University. 

Miller, a forward from Melbourne, was named first team All-American by both the NJCAA and the United Soccer Coaches Association after scoring a team-leading 17 goals and had four assists in her sophomore season with the Titans. She will head to Louisiana Tech who was 13-4-3 last season and lost in the quarterfinals of the Conference USA Tournament last year. 

Gibson, a goalkeeper from Glasgow, Scotland, recorded a program-record nine shutouts this season and allowed just four goals in conference games this season. Gibson leaves EFSC as the record holder for shutouts in a season and for her career with 17. She will head to Florida International who is coming off a rough season in Conference USA. 

Defender JJ Bryant is also heading to an NCAA Division I program, signing with UNLV. The Viera native was also a United Soccer Coaches Association first team All-American, helping the Titans defense to a 16-1 record, allowing just seven goals in 17 games. UNLV plays in the Mountain West Conference. 

Midfielder Josephine Monteiro will attend Minot State, an NCAA Division II program that plays in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference. Monteiro played in 17 games over two seasons with the Titans.

The Titans lost in the semifinals of the NJCAA Division I National Championship Tournament.
