Baseball team hosts Indian River State College Saturday for doubleheader
The Eastern Florida State College baseball team will host Indian River State College in a Citrus Conference doubleheader on Saturday.
The Titans will play two games with the Pioneers beginning at noon at Bruce Bochy Field. Indian River State College took the first game of the series, 4-1 on Thursday night in Fort Pierce.
Eastern Florida State College is 5-5 in the conference and has won four of the past five games coming into the doubleheader. The Titans are led by Adrian Dominguez who is hitting .358 this season with 10 doubles and two home runs and has driven in 23 runs. Teammate Ryan Cerrone is hitting .333 with a home run and three doubles.
Kenneth Robinson will take the mound in Game 1 and has been really good in his last two starts and has a 2.13 ERA in seven appearances.
Indian River State College improved to 6-4 in the conference with the win on Thursday. Brett Patten is hitting .388 this season with four doubles and three home runs while Raul Feliz is hitting .383 with five doubles, a triple and a home run.
