The Eastern Florida State College baseball team beat Webber International JV in both ends of a doubleheader Tuesday at Bruce Bochy Field.
The Titans won the first game 6-4 as the Titans rallied back from a rough second inning that saw Webber score four times.
But in the bottom of the third inning Drew Cavanaugh hit a two-run home run to tie the game 4-4. It was Cavanaugh's first home run of the season.
Then in the fourth inning Don McKnight III gave the Titans the lead 5-4 with an RBI triple.
Ridge Skarbek got the win in relief and Eric Garcia got the final three outs to lock up the win.
In Game 2 the offense exploded for 10 runs in the bottom of the first inning.
Gabriel Cruz crushed a three-run home run in the second inning to make it 14-2. It was his first home run of the season.
Then in the third inning, Ryne Wallace blasted a pitch over the center field wall, bouncing it off the batter's eye.
"We have had a bunch of games lately that one or two plays just have not gone our way and we have lost so to come out and get a couple wins today was nice to see," Eastern Florida State College baseball coach Steven Brown said. "The guys had some really good at-bats today and the pitchers were hitting their spots, which led to good results today."
Cruz drove in five runs and Wallace drove in four while Drew Stubbs and McKnight each had three hits in the game. Grayson Adams picked up the win for the Titans.
The Titans improved to 9-13-1 on the season with the sweep.
