The Eastern Florida State College baseball team lost to Miami-Dade Saturday afternoon in a Southern Conference game at Bruce Bochy Field.
The Titans, who are now 10-8 overall and 1-2 in the conference, got behind early but battled back in the 14-7 game.
Jakob Zarrello hit his first home run of the season, a two-run home run in the seventh inning to cut the lead to 9-6.
Elian Merejo would add a solo home run in the eighth, his third of the season. Jasson Corniel finished with four hits.
The Titans will travel to Indian River State College on Wednesday for a Southern Conference game before hosting the Pioneers on Friday evening at Bruce Bochy Field. First pitch will be 6 p.m. and the game will be shown live on WEFS-TV and online at efsctitans.com/webcast
