The Eastern Florida State College baseball team lost to the State College of Florida Manatee Sarasota in a road game on Friday afternoon.
The Titans fell to 2-3 on the season with the 14-6 loss.
Sophomore Collier Rutledge hit a grand slam in the eighth inning, hs first home run of the season for the Titans. Teammate Andres Ramos had three hits and scored twice in the game while Cristian Sanjurjo and Elian Merejo each drove in a run.
The Titans will travel to Lake Sumter State to face the Lakehawks who come into the contest 2-4. Eastern Florida State College will be back at Bruce Bochy Field on Wednesday, hosting Daytona State College at 5 p.m.
