The Eastern Florida State College baseball team picked up its first win of the season in extra innings, dropping Polk State College 11-10 in 11 innings.
Jasson Corniel drove in Alvaro Valdez in the top of the 11th to give the Titans the lead and JP Williams made it hold up, picking up his first win of the season in relief.
Dyan Owens hit a two-run home run and Elian Merejo also had a home run while Cristian Sanjurjo had two hits in the win.
Mason Studstill got the start and tossed five shutout innings, striking out five in a no-decision.
The Titans (1-1) will be back on the road Monday afternoon, playing at Seminole State College at 2 p.m. before returning to Bruce Bochy Field on Wednesday evening at 6 p.m. against Seminole State College. Admission is free.
