The Eastern Florida State College baseball team came storming back in the bottom of the ninth inning to force extra innings, but lost to Daytona State College 10-9 in 10 innings at Bruce Bochy Field Wednesday.
The Titans found themselves down 9-2 but scored twice in the bottom of the sixth and then five times in the bottom of the ninth as Ian Lisle hit a two-run double to tie the game 9-9.
Daytona State would hit a solo home run in the 10th to hand the Titans their third loss of the season.
The Titans had 11 hits in the game as Lisle, Jacob McFadden, Sammy Duran and Anthony Martinez each had two hits in the game.
Eastern Florida State College (7-3) will be back at Bruce Bochy Field on Friday evening, hosting Santa Fe at 5 p.m.
