Women's cross country team No. 12 in national poll

The Eastern Florida State College women's cross country team moves up three places and into No. 12 in the NJCAA Division I Women's Cross Country national poll released on Wednesday.

The Titans are the highest ranking they have been in the U.S. Track & Field Cross Country poll after finishing 28th in the FSU Invite in Tallahassee on Sept. 29.

Salt Lake CC remains No. 1 in the national poll but New Mexico Junior College moved into second with Colby CC in Kansas third, Southern Idaho moves into fourth and Iowa Western is fifth.

Eastern Florida State College will compete in the FSC Invite at Holloway Park in Lakeland on Friday, Oct. 13.
