
Women's tennis team tops Southeastern University
The Eastern Florida State College women's tennis team won its final regular season match as they prepare for the NJCAA Division I National Championship Tournament in a couple of weeks.
The Titans defeated Southeastern University 4-3 on the road Friday.
The women's team swept the doubles matches as Helena Jankovic teamed with Simona Karlsson to win at No. 1 doubles, Emma Sanchez and Gloria Barcaro won at No. 2 doubles and Paige Noble-Lucas teamed with Luisa Lucas Martinez to win No. 3 doubles.
Helena Jankovic won at No. 4 singles to lock up the win for the Titans.
Eastern Florida State College will travel to Tyler, Texas for the national tournament beginning Saturday, May 6.
