Women's golf team has solid first round at Flagler event

The Eastern Florida State College women's golf team got their first round in on a rainy day first day of the Flagler Fall Slam at Marsh Creek Country Club in St. Augustine.

The Titans shot a 318 but several players did not finish their round due to the weather nad will finish up the first round before starting the final round on Tuesday.

Sophomore Kacey Walker shot a 73 in the first round while teammate Sloan Lanier finished with an 80, Elis Boccabella shot an 82, Trinity Falzone had an 83 and Delia Timpy shot an 84 for the Titans who are No. 4 in the latest GolfStat NJCAA poll.

The Titans will tee off at 8 a.m. for the final round of the tournament.
