Robert McDonald joins the Eastern Florida State College women's basketball staff after being the varsity girls basketball coach at Cypress Creek High School for the past three seasons.

McDonald studied Studio Art at St. Olaf College in Northfield Minnesota where he played football and basketball for four years and has a passion for volunteering and has volunteered for a Girls High School travel basketball program as a coach for East Coast United. McDonald would coach their top 17u team as they were recognized as one of the best teams in the state and also was a volunteer coach for the Junior Magic Organization where he coached alongside his mother Estelle McDonald. They would co-coach boys ranging from ages 11-17 years old from 2010-2016.
