The Eastern Florida State College women's basketball team got back on track Wednesday evening, defeating Daytona State College 69-58 in a Central Conference game at Titan Field House.
The Titans took a 37-28 lead at halftime and extended it with a big third quarter, outscoring the Falcons 21-13 in the quarter to take a 17-point lead into the fourth quarter. But Daytona State won the fourth quarter, outscoring the Titans 17-11 in the quarter.
Sophomore Anja Knoflach had one of her best games as a Titan, scoring 22 points, grabbed five rebounds and had three assists in the win.
Teammate Kaitlyn Sanders had a season-high 15 points to go with five assists and three steals while Stephanie Torres chipped in with 11.
The women's basketball team snapped a three-game losing streak to improve to 3-3 overall and 1-1 in the conference. The Titans will travel to Palm Beach State College on Monday for a 5:30 p.m. game.
