The Eastern Florida State College women's basketball team lost a Southern Conference matchup to Broward College Tuesday night.
The Titans got off to a slow start once again as Broward took a 12-point lead after the first quarter and Eastern Florida State College could not rebound, falling 80-70.
Caitlyn Smith continued her strong play, leading the Titans with 25 points. It marked the sixth straight game that Smith has scored at least 13 points in a game. Teammate Mariah Batz finished with 13 points while Theodora Odia had 10 points. Sophomore Trudy Walker had her 14th double-double of the season, scoring 11 points and grabbing 22 rebounds.
The Titans will host Indian River State College on Saturday afternoon at Titan Field House. Tipoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. and the game will be shown live on WEFS-TV and online at efsctitans.com/webcast
