The Eastern Florida State College women's basketball team got off to a slow start on the road and could not recover Wednesday night, falling to Santa Fe College 82-65.
The Titans struggled shooting from the 3-point arc, shooting 20 percent in the game and Santa Fe outrebounded the Titans 68-31.
Trudy Walker scored 14 points and grabbed a team-high eight rebounds while Tayler Smith has 12 points and five rebounds. Dora Odia made her Titans debut, scoring seven points off the bench.
Eastern Florida State College will play Webber JV on the road Saturday before hosting Florida State College at Jacksonville next Wednesday night. Tipoff is 6 p.m. and admission is free.
