The Eastern Florida State College softball team lost a slugfest with St. Petersburg in the first game of the day Saturday at Eddie C. Moore Complex in Clearwater.
The Titans lost 12-7 in a game that had 23 hits.
With the Titans trailing in the fourth inning, Makenzie Fore hit a ball past the third baseman that scored two and then Grasyn Holland hit an RBI single to tie the game 7-7.
But St. Petersburg broke the game open in the fifth inning, scoring four times.
