
Achermann-Stanfield, Emmanuel named United Soccer Coaches All-America team
Two Eastern Florida State College men's soccer players were recently named United Soccer Coaches Junior College All-Americans.
Sophomores Luc Achermann-Stanfield and Mukisa Emmanuel were recognized during a ceremony and reception in Chicago, Illinois.
Achermann-Stanfield had a record-setting season, finishing with a school-record 20 assists and also had eight goals. The London, England native finished the season with 36 points and his 49 points in two seasons ranks him among the top five in program history. His 31 assists is also a program record.
Achermann-Stanfield was also named to the first team all-Region 8 team as well as the NJCAA Division I National Tournament all-tournament team.
Emmanuel finished the season with 26 points and finishes his two seasons with 49 points, tied for fourth with Achermann-Stanfield and Jack Nelson.
The Titans coaching staff was also named the Junior College Division I South Staff of the Year.
The men's soccer team will open the spring season at home against Jacksonville University Saturday, Feb. 15 at 2 p.m.
