
Men's soccer team hosts SWIC Thursday afternoon
The Eastern Florida State College men's soccer team will be back at Orlando Health Stadium for a non-conference game against Southwestern Illinois College on Thursday afternoon.
The eighth-ranked Titans come into the matchup 7-1-2 on the season and are coming off their first loss of the season. They look to get back on track against Southwestern Illinois who is now 5-4-3 overall and are coming off a win on Tuesday.
SWIC's Maquan Aldridge is tied for the national lead with 13 goals as the forward scored three goals in the 5-2 win Tuesday against Metropolitan. It was his second hat trick of the season and he has scored in seven of the 12 games this season.
Sophomore Luc Achermann-Stanfield leads the nation and the Titans with 13 assists while teammate Mukisa Emmanuel leads the team with seven goals.
Thursday's game will begin at 3 p.m. and will be shown live online at the EFSC Titans YouTube page.
It is the first of three games at Orlando Health Stadium on Thursday as the Miami Dade women's soccer team will play Southern Illinois College at 5 p.m.
The No. 13 Eastern Florida State College women's soccer team will play at 7 p.m. against No. 10 Monroe Community College in a game that will be shown live on WEFS-TV.
