
Men's soccer team hosts Miami Dade in matchup of top-10 teams
The Eastern Florida State College men's soccer team will host Miami Dade College in a big conference game Tuesday night at Orlando Health Stadium on the Melbourne campus.
The Titans lost the first meeting with the Sharks on Friday night in Miami and will look to even the series on Tuesday night. Eastern Florida State College is now 0-1-1 in the conference and needs a win Tuesday to keep their conference title hopes alive.
The Sharks scored twice in the second half in the first meeting as Eduardo Duchini and Facundo Ochoa both found the back of the net in a 2-0 win. It was Duchini's 10th goal of the season while Ochoa now has eight this season as Miami Dade has scored 40 this season.
Eastern Florida State College has scored 41 times this season as both teams are in the top 10 in the nation in goals scored. Mukisa Emmanuel leads the Titans with seven goals while Adrian Adrian has six and Joao Loureiro has five. Luc Achermann-Stanfield leads the country in assists with 13.
