Men's soccer team travels to Miami Dade for conference game Friday
The Eastern Florida State College men's soccer team will travel to Miami on Friday night for a conference game against Miami Dade College.
The No. 1 ranked Titans, who are coming into the contest 7-0-2 overall and 0-0-1 in the conference. Eastern Florida State College is coming off a victory against Dallas College Richland who is No. 1 in the NJCAA Division III national poll.
Miami Dade is coming into the contest 7-0-2 as well and are 0-0-1 in the conference. The Sharks are ranked 11th in the latest national poll.
Friday's game is scheduled to kick off at 7:30 p.m.
Both teams are in the top 10 in the nation in goals scored as the Titans have scored 41 times in nine games while Miami Dade has scored 38 in nine games.
Sophomore Luc Achermann-Stanfield is leading the nation in assists with 13 to go with three goals. Teammate Joao Loureiro is third in the nation in assists with eight. Mukisa Emmanuel leads the Titans with seven goals this season while Adrian Adrian has six.
Miami Dade's Eduardo Duchini is tied for third in the nation in goals scored with nine while teammate Facundo Ochoa has seven goals this season to go with four assists.
Friday's meeting will be the first of two between the teams as Miami Dade will come to Melbourne to face the Titans on Tuesday at Orlando Health Stadium.
