Men's soccer team faces Dallas College-Richland Sunday in Texas
The Eastern Florida State College men's soccer team will be back on the field Sunday for a matchup of No. 1 teams in Texas.
The top-ranked Titans will play NJCAA Division III Dallas College-Richland who is unbeaten and ranked No. 1 Sunday at 3 p.m.
Dallas College-Richland comes into the contest 4-0 and has won the past six NJCAA Division III national titles, losing in the final in 2017. The Thunderducks have shutout each of the past three opponents and have outscored opponents 13-2 this season. Goalkeeper Emmanuel Carmona has allowed just one goal this season while offensively the duo of Joseph Min and Giuseppe Costantino have accounted for seven goals.
The Titans are coming off a tie to Eastern Oklahoma State on Friday in Texas and are now 6-0-2 on the season. Mukisa Emmanuel has scored seven goals this season while Adrian Adrian has six. Luc Achermann-Stanfield leads the nation with 10 assists this season while teammate Joao Loureiro is third with eight. Loureiro also has five goals in eight games.
Eastern Florida State College will return to Florida after Sunday's game and head to Miami Dade for a conference matchup on Friday.
