"Good solid play by Matt and Drew. The course played stout as usual in the March winds," Eastern Florida State College men's golf coach Jamie Howell said. "We still look for more balance with our scoring as we have not had four solid scores since the fall."
The Eastern Florida State College B team is in 11th place overall.
The second round will tee off at 7:30 a.m. Monday morning at Duran Golf Club.
