Men's basketball team faces CSI tonight at Battle for the Boot
The Eastern Florida State College men's basketball team will face host College of Southern Idaho at the Battle for the Boot Friday night.
The Titans, who are ranked 23rd in the preseason NJCAA Division I poll, defeated Western Wyoming Community College 83-64 in the first game of the tournament. Emondrek Erkins-Ford led the team with 20 points while teammate Corey Caulker had 19 in the win.
They will face No. 12 CSI in a semifinal at 9 p.m. CSI is now 3-0 on the season after defeating the CSI Legends on Thursday night. The Golden Eagles were led by Amarco Doyle who had 24 points and nine rebounds.
Monroe University and No. 1 ranked South Plains will meet in the other semifinal at 7 p.m. The winners will meet in the final on Saturday.
