Six men's basketball players moving on to four-year schools

The Eastern Florida State College men's basketball team had six players sign to play at four-year schools in the Fall.

NJCAA Division I All-America honorable mention player Andres Burney has chosen to attend Jacksonville State College in Jacksonville, Alabama. The Gamecocks will play in the ASUN Conference next season after going 6-12 in the Conference USA Conference last season.

Burney started 29 of the team's 31 games this season and averaged 17.4 points and 9.7 rebounds per game. The forward was named to the Central Conference First Team as well as an all-state selection as he finished the season with 13 double-doubles and three 30-point games. His 300 rebounds places him third all-time in rebounds in a season and he scored 539 points which put him in the top 10 in the past decade of the program.

Eric Parnell will be heading to Hofstra University in the Fall to join the Pride of Long Island. Hofstra is coming off a 25-win season and was 16-2 in the Colonial Athletic Association. They made it to the second round of the National Invitation Tournament (NIT). Parnell had a successful season with the Titans as the guard averaged 10 points and 4.5 rebounds in 31 games, starting 21.

Caleb Byrd has signed to attend Columbus State University next season to play for the Cougars in the NCAA Division II Peach Belt Conference.  Columbus State made it to the conference tournament semifinals last season. Byrd averaged 23 points per game in 18 games for the Titans last season.

Brandon Garcia has signed to play at Eckerd College next season, joining the Tritons in the Sunshine State Conference. Garcia played in 44 games over his two seasons with the Titans, starting 15 and averaged 9.7 points and 3.6 assists per game.

Cameron Wickline has chosen to attend Point University after finishing his career with the Titans. Wickline will head to West Point, Georgia to play for the Skyhawks who play in the Appalachian Athletic Conference, an NAIA school. Wickline played in 53 games over two seasons with the Titans.

Augustin Kingombe has decided to attend Wayland Baptist next season. The Pioneers play in the Sooner Athletic Conference and reached the NAIA National Tournament last season. Kingombe played in 27 games for the Titans, starting 13 in his lone season.
