Baseball team hosts Seminole State Tuesday afternoon
The Eastern Florida State College baseball team will host Seminole State College in a non-conference game Tuesday afternoon.
The Titans, who are 13-12-1 on the season, will play the Raiders who are 16-10 at 3 p.m. at Bruce Bochy Field.
Eastern Florida State College won the first three meetings between the two teams this season. The Titans are hitting .295 as a team led by first baseman Adrian Dominguez who is hitting .348 this season. Teammate Carlos Cordero is hitting .326 and Ryan Cerrone is hitting .325 heading into Tuesday's game.
Jesus Portillo will get the start for the Titans. The freshman is making his sixth start of the season and is 3-1.
Seminole State College comes into the contest winning three of the past four and is hitting .301 on the season. Danny Ramirez is leading the offensive attack, hitting .405 with 12 doubles and six home runs this season.
