Hugo Car named to the ITA NJCAA Division I All-America team

Eastern Florida State College men's tennis player Hugo Car continues to be recognized for his sophomore season with the Titans.

On Friday Car was named to the ITA NJCAA Division I All-America singles team.

The France native won the NJCAA Division I National Title at No. 1 singles and has been the No. 1 ranked player in the national ITA rankings all season.

Car was named to the NJCAA Division I All-America team earlier this month after becoming the first Titans men's tennis player to win a national title in singles.

He led Eastern Florida State College to a third-place finish in the national tournament. In the national tournament, Car won all three of his matches in straight sets and the 6-4 win in the final was the closest set of the tournament. Car has committed to attend and play at the University of South Florida next year.
