Four men's tennis players named to NJCAA All-America teams

The Eastern Florida State College men's tennis team had four players named to NJCAA Division I All-America teams.

Sophomore Hugo Car was named to the first team after winning the national title at No. 1 singles at the NJCAA Division I National Championship at Colin College in Texas.

Car won every match in the tournament in straight sets and has been the No. 1 player in the ITA JUCO rankings all season long.

Nick DeVivo was named to the second team after finishing runner-up at No. 3 singles in the national tournament. DeVivo won the first match in straight sets and then the semifinal match in three sets before falling in the final.

Teammate Tomas Quesada Perez was also named to the second team after finishing in the championship match at No. 4 singles. Quesada Perez lost the final, but went 2-1 in the tournament to earn the honor.

Quesada Perez teamed with Alexandr Achour at No. 3 doubles and was named to the second team after they fell in the final after winning their semifinal match in straight sets.

It is the first time that the Titans have had an All-American since 2020-21 season and the three is the most the program has had in one season.
