Four women's basketball players moving on to four-year colleges

Four members of the history-making Eastern Florida State College women's basketball team have signed letters of intent with four-year schools.

Tatiana Beaumont, Kaitlyn Sanders, Jillian Schenk and Ana Carolina De Jesus have all committed to continue their education and will play at NCAA Division I or II programs next season.

De Jesus will attend Cal State Northridge in the fall and play NCAA Division I basketball for the Matadors in the Big West Conference. The 6-3 forward was a second team all-Central Conference player for the Titans who went to the Elite Eight of the NJCAA Division I National Championship Tournament. She averaged 5.6 points and 5.5 rebounds in 31 games. A native of Setubal, Portugal, she scored in double figures six times, with a season-high 12 coming on two occasions.

Beaumont has decided to go to Radford University in the fall to play NCAA Division I basketball for the Highlanders in the Big South Conference.

The 5-11 guard was a second team all-Central Conference player and averaged 7.3 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2.9 assists in 33 games this season. The Emu Heights, Australia native played in 52 games in two seasons with the Titans, scoring 364 points, grabbing 171 rebounds and handed out 146 assists.

Sanders and Schenk will both stay in the state of Florida and play NCAA Division II basketball in the Sunshine State Conference.

Sanders will attend Rollins College and the point guard will help a Tars team that struggled last season. The Miami native was a first team all-Central Conference player that averaged 11.2 points, 3.2 assists and 3.5 rebounds per game for the Titans. She recorded over 100 assists and 100 rebounds this past season and averaged 10.9 points per game in her 41 career games at Eastern Florida State College.

Schenk has signed with Palm Beach Atlantic who also plays in the Sunshine State Conference. The 5-11 forward played in 22 games this season off the bench for the Titans who finished 28-5 and won the Central Conference with a perfect 12-0 record. Overall, the Boynton Beach native scored 117 points and grabbed 86 rebounds in 39 games with the Titans.
