The Eastern Florida State College women's basketball team fell to Florida Southwestern in a Suncoast Conference matchup.
The Titans got off to a slow start and while they battled back in the second quarter, could not catch Florida Southwestern, who picked up the 89-60 win and clinched the Suncoast Conference title.
Brianna Lewis finished with 14 points and seven assists while Mariah Batz had 13 points in the game.
The Titans (21-6, 5-3) have locked up second place and earned a trip to the FCSAA State Tournament in Ocala. They will wrap up the regular season at home Wednesday night against St. Petersburg College. Tipoff is at 6 p.m. and it is Sophomore Night at Titan Field House as the sophomore class will be honored after the game.
