The Eastern Florida State College women's basketball team lost its Suncoast Conference opener Wednesday night.
The Titans, 15-4 overall and 0-1 in the conference, lost to No. 19 Florida Southwestern 87-67 in Fort Myers. Point guard Brianna Lewis led the attack with 22 points and seven assists. Teammate Alexandrine Obouh Fegue was the only other player in double figures, scoring 13 points.
Eastern Florida State College will look to bounce back on Saturday afternoon when they host Hillsborough in a Suncoast Conference matchup at 2 p.m. at Titan Field House.
