The Eastern Florida State College softball team lost for the first time this season, falling to St. Petersburg College 9-3 in the JUCO Kickoff on Saturday.
The Titans fell behind early and couldn't come back in the contest at Eddie C. Moore Complex in Clearwater.
Makenzie Fore went 4-for-4 with a double and Ava Bassani had three hits with an RBI and a run scored. Destiny Lake took the loss for the Titans.
