The Eastern Florida State College women's volleyball team went 1-1 on the final day of the Odessa College Tournament Saturday in Texas.
The Titans opened the day against Panola College, who is receiving votes in the NJCAA Division I poll. Panola College picked up the win, 25-21, 25-19, 25-19. The Titans kept it close in every set against Panola.
But the Titans rebounded in the final match of the day, defeating Temple Junior College in four sets, 25-8, 25-13, 19-25, 25-16 to finish the tournament 2-2.
Against Temple, Paulina Dobreva had 14 kills and an ace while Gaia Riedmuller had 17 digs and Juliana De Acharan finished with 42 assists.
Eastern Florida State College is now 7-2 on the season and will host St. Petersburg College Wednesday night at 6 p.m. in the home opener at Titan Field House on the Melbourne campus. Admission is free to games at Titan Field House.
