The Eastern Florida State College women's volleyball team lost on the road Tuesday night, losing in straight sets to No. 1 Florida Southwestern in Fort Myers.
The Titans struggled to get anything going against the Bucs, falling 25-10, 25-11 and 25-16 to fall to 5-12 overall and 3-10 in the Suncoast Conference. With the win, the Bucs clinched the conference title and the No. 1 seed in the state tournament.
Sophomores Giselle Giraud and Desiree Cruz each finished with six kills in the match.
Eastern Florida State College will host Indian River State College in a key conference matchup on Thursday at Titan Field House on the Melbourne campus. The match will begin at 6 p.m. and admission is free. The match will also be shown live online at EFSC Titans YouTube page.
