Women's soccer team faces Hill College Wednesday at national tournament

Women's soccer team faces Hill College Wednesday at national tournament

The Eastern Florida State College women's soccer team will try to stay alive in the NJCAA Division I National Tournament Wednesday afternoon.

The third-seeded Titans will play No. 6 seed Hill College at 2:30 p.m. at Daytona State College in the final game of Pool C.

Hill College defeated Rose State College 3-2 on Tuesday which kept Eastern Florida State College alive. The Titans will need to win by at least two goals in order to advance, if Hill wins, they advance to the semifinals.

Hill College is 9-2-3 on the season and received an at-large bid to the national tournament. The Rebels lost to No. 1 seed Tyler Junior College in the South District Championship. Hill is No. 8 in the latest NJCAA Division I poll.

Eastern Florida State College lost to Rose State College 1-0 in overtime in the first game of the tournament.

A tournament pass is $60 and covers every game all week, a daily ticket costs $20.
