The Eastern Florida State College men's basketball team bounced back Saturday afternoon behind a big performance from Shaq Carter.
The freshman forward finished with a career-high 26 points as the Titans defeated Broward College 92-70 in a Southern Conference game on the road.
Carter got things going early, scoring 20 of his 26 points in the first half, helping the Titans jump out to a 46-38 lead.
Kareem Brewton and Ahmed Ali made sure the Titans kept the lead, each scoring double digits in the second half as Ali finished with 21 and Brewton had 20 in the game.
The Titans, who are now 9-3 in the conference and 23-4 overall, will travel to Indian River State College on Wednesday night for a key conference game.
