Bruna DaSilva, Women's Basketball

Eastern Florida State College women’s basketball player Bruna DaSilva had a big week for the Titans and is the Orlando Health Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending Jan. 4.

DaSilva averaged 21.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.75 assists per game in the four games last week. The sophomore from Sao Paulo, Brazil had 31 points and six rebounds against Cleveland Community College and has scored at least 16 points in each of the games.

For the season, DaSilva is averaging 14.4 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game in 15 games.

Eastern Florida State College will host Miami Dade College on Wednesday night at Titan Field House. The women’s game will tip off at 5:30 p.m. and it will be the first Alumni Friends and Fans night sponsored by Community Credit Union with contests and giveaways during halftime.
