Women's golf team sits in third after first round of Webber Invitational

Eastern Florida State College women's golf team is in third place after the first round of the 17^th annual Webber Fall Classic at Lake Wales Country Club.

Freshman Kacey Walker shot an even par 72 in the round and is in third place overall. Teammate Delia Timpy is tied for 12^th while Trinity Falzone and Gianna Piscitelli are tied for 15^th in the tournament.

"It was a good solid round by Kacey," Eastern Florida State College women's golf coach Jamie Howell said. "Delia held it together while Trinity and Gianna struggled a bit but good to have a team competing."

The team will tee off for round 2 on Sunday.
