Trio of women's golfers fare well at Panther Invitational

A pair of Eastern Florida State College women's golfers finish strong Tuesday afternoon at the Florida Tech Panther Invitational at Duran Golf Club.

Sophomore Lauren Holder and freshman Dayna Owens each shot a 76 in the final round of the tournament. Holder finished the three-round event tied for 23rd overall while Owens finished in 28th.

Sophomore Danica Swaggerty struggled a bit in her first nine holes, but rebounded to shoot 3-over in her final nine holes to finish tied for 31st.

Seminole State won the tournament, shooting 6-over as a team.
